    Comprehensive Commercial Flat Roofing Services

Most business buildings in Woodstock and across Southern Ontario have flat roofs. From learning institutions, apartment buildings, and shopping malls to government office buildings and industrial facilities, flat roofs are very common. After all, flat or low-slope roofs are a cost-effective choice for large buildings.

Regardless of the specific type of your building, Watertite Roofing’s experts aim to deliver quality installations, durable roof repairs, and cost-effective maintenance services. Whether you need emergency repairs, scheduled inspections, or an expert’s opinion on whether you should replace your roof, you can expect reliable services from our team.

We Use the Best Roofing Materials

At Watertite Roofing, we proudly install two of the most trusted flat roofing systems available today: the Duro-Last PVC roofing system and the Canada-made Goliath PVC roofing system. Duro-Last is recognized across North America as a leader in high-quality, single-ply PVC membranes engineered for long-term durability and energy efficiency. The Goliath roofing system, manufactured in Canada, offers exceptional strength, chemical resistance, and reliability—making it an excellent choice for demanding commercial and industrial environments.

Both Duro-Last and Goliath PVC membranes can be ideal for retrofit applications on flat and low-slope roofs, provided the existing roof deck and insulation are in sound condition. When you choose Watertite Roofing to install, maintain, or replace your flat roofing system, you can trust that only top-tier materials and proven installation practices will be used.

Trained & Certified In-House Roofing Professionals

Every roofing project we undertake is completed by our in-house team of trained and certified flat roofing experts. We do not outsource work to third parties. This makes us a trusted partner in maintaining strict control over workmanship, safety, and roofing service quality.

Additionally, our team participates in periodic technical training. For example, we visited the Duro-Last facility in Michigan to learn various green roofing technologies. Ongoing training ensures our teams remain familiar with the latest roofing technologies, cleaner installation methods, and updated commercial roofing standards.

    Comprehensive Warranty

Here at Watertite Roofing, we offer strong warranty protection for every commercial flat roofing system we install or retrofit in Woodstock. This includes manufacturer warranties on approved systems, as well as quality workmanship warranties for eligible installations.

Our warranty coverage provides protection for clients and offers long-term confidence in the performance of their roof. We will review all terms of the warranty clearly so that building owners and managers understand the level of protection provided.

    Award-Winning Roofing Company

Watertite Roofing has earned recognition for consistent quality craftsmanship, customer satisfaction, and roofing expertise. We have received the Duro-Last Elite Contractor status, an honour awarded to a select number of top roofing companies across North America.

We also received the Ontario Contractor of the Year award multiple times. This demonstrates our commitment to professional service standards and client satisfaction. These awards reflect our dedication to delivering dependable and professional commercial roofing services.

Every commercial or industrial building has unique roofing needs, and we tailor our flat roofing solutions to the client’s requirements. You can count on our in-house team of roofing experts for the following commercial flat roofing services in Woodstock, Ontario:

We install new roofs for the following property types:

    • Warehouses & distribution centers
    • Schools and churches
    • Factories
    • Automotive dealers
    • Other commercial and industrial buildings with flat or low-slope roofs

Are Flat Roof Repairs and Ongoing Maintenance Worth it?

Did you know that you could avoid leak disasters on your commercial flat roof with timely repairs and preventive maintenance? At Watertite Roofing, we help commercial and industrial property owners or managers inspect their roofs to identify issues, such as roof leaks, aging materials, and other forms of roof damage.

Timely roof repairs can make the entire roof structure energy efficient and safe. Additionally, on-time repairs for leaks, blistering membrane, drainage issues, flashing problems, and other forms of flat roof damage can prevent costly repairs. Therefore, contact us for roof repairs if you notice any of the following signs of flat roof damage:

    • Water stains on your ceiling, walls, and floors may indicate roof leaks
    • Blistering, bubbling, or cracking in the flat roofing membrane
    • Unexplained and sudden increase in your heating or cooling bills
    • Sagged roof areas where water pools after rain
    • Unpleasant smell associated with mold growth and excess moisture

Routine roof inspections and preventive maintenance can extend the lifespan of your commercial roof by several years. During the routine roof inspections, our professional roofers can identify the earliest signs of roof issues. Addressing any form of damage early prevents costly damage, protects the entire roof structure, lowers repair costs, improves energy usage, and keeps your building code compliant.

    Flat & Low-Slope Retrofits

Sometimes, repairing your existing flat or low-slope roof may not be enough to prevent leaks, membrane blistering, or flashing damage. If the underlying roof deck and insulation are still in good condition, we can retrofit or overlay a Goliath or Duro-Last PVC roofing system instead of removing and replacing the entire roof assembly.

At Watertite Roofing, we only recommend complete flat roof replacement services if the entire roof assembly, including the underlying deck and insulation, is damaged beyond repair. Therefore, our professional roofing experts will first inspect your roof to determine whether a retrofit is ideal or if a full replacement is necessary.

Generally, retrofitting allows our roofers to install the Duro-Last and Canada-made Goliath flat roofing system on top of your existing roof. This approach reduces the arduous step of removing and disposing of your old roof, requires less labour, and can be completed faster than a full roof replacement, leading to significant overall cost savings!

What are the Key Benefits of Duro-Last & Goliath PVC Roofing Systems?

Choosing the right roofing system for your commercial, industrial, or institutional property can be complex. When a roof can no longer be repaired, we recommend the Duro-Last and the Canada-made Goliath PVC roof system for our roofing projects in Woodstock and the surrounding area.

Here’s why Goliath and Duro-Last PVC roofing membranes are the best solution for flat or low-slope roofs in Woodstock.

Durable Flat Roof for Commercial Properties

Both the Duro-Last single-ply PVC system and the Canada-made Goliath PVC roofing system are engineered for long-term performance on commercial and industrial flat roofs. These high-strength PVC membranes typically last 15–30 years or more, offering exceptional resistance to UV exposure, chemicals, punctures, and harsh environmental conditions. As with any premium flat roofing system, professional installation and repairs are essential to ensure maximum durability and long-term reliability.

    Higher Energy Efficiency

Duro-Last and Goliath PVC roofing membranes are designed with reflective surfaces that help reduce heat absorption during hot summer months. This improves overall energy efficiency by lowering cooling demands and reducing energy costs for building owners. Duro-Last membranes also meet Energy Star requirements, supporting measurable improvements in building performance.

Eco-Friendly Flat and Low-Slope Roofing Options

Duro-Last single-ply membranes are fully recyclable at the end of their service life and can be returned to the manufacturer for processing—helping reduce landfill waste. Both Duro-Last and Goliath systems are produced with precision manufacturing that minimizes installation waste, contributing to more sustainable flat and low-slope roofing practices.

Proudly Canadian, Locally Manufactured Roofing Materials

The Goliath PVC roofing system also stands out as a proudly local, Canadian-made product. Manufactured in Cambridge, Ontario, just outside Woodstock, Goliath supports local industry while providing top-tier performance for commercial and industrial flat roofing. As a product owned by Canadians and produced by skilled workers from our own communities, choosing Goliath means investing back into the local economy. It’s a dependable roofing solution that not only delivers exceptional durability but also helps sustain Canadian jobs and manufacturing.

How Much do Commercial Roofing Solutions Cost in Woodstock?

    FAQs

When signs of roof leaks or other flat or low-slope roof damage appear, it’s important to contact a professional roofing contractor. Watertite Roofing assesses the damage and uses waterproofing membranes and proven repair techniques to permanently fix minor issues such as punctures, cracks, and leaks.
Fixing a roof leak starts with identifying and assessing the affected area. Our experienced roofers apply high-quality sealants that bond with the roofing membrane to create a watertight seal. For more extensive damage, partial roof replacement may be recommended.
The lifespan of a commercial or industrial flat roof depends on factors such as local climate, roofing materials, and maintenance frequency. Certain flat roofing systems, including Duro-Last PVC membranes, can last well over 20 years with proper care.
Repair timelines vary based on roof size, job complexity, weather conditions, and the type of flat roofing membrane. Requesting a free estimate will provide accurate repair costs and a projected timeline.
Insulation is often required for flat roofing systems, but the need depends on the building’s roof assembly. Many commercial flat roofs use insulation above the deck to improve energy efficiency, while some buildings already have insulation below the deck, making additional insulation unnecessary. The best solution depends on building design, local codes, and energy goals, which is why a professional roof assessment is essential.

Zac and his team have been incredible from our first contact. They were the most reasonably priced of 4 quotes, got the job done quickly when they said they would, have promptly responded to any queries and have came back to support installation of ventwork during renovations. The new roof, trim and eaves troughs look great and we’re very happy with the service.

In February this year, we had a serious flooding problem at our house coming from an outside flat roof deck and probable freezing / ice damage. As part of researching our options, we learned that identifying and fixing flat roof issues can be very complicated, expensive and problematic for insurance coverage. While WaterTite Roofing was not involved in the original installation of our flat deck, Zachary came to our house the day after we contacted him and provided us with a detailed assessment of the problem, a solution and the cost. While we ended up using a different roofing company, mostly due to insurance complications, we could not have been more pleased or impressed by the professionalism of Zachary and we make no hesitation in suggesting you consult WaterTite / Zachary if you have an issue with a flat roof.

      Don Davidson

Watertite did an amazing job with our rooftop terrace installation, very professional and built to last many years. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solution that is long lasting and low maintenance. Amazing job!

      Glenn Edwards

We hired Watertite Roofing to repair a leaking flat overhang on the front of our house that had been poorly done by another roofing company about 10 years earlier. Rot had set in and owner Zak Keyes had the solution for a permanent fix. Lead hand Jon took over from there and skillfully directed his crew to undo all the damage, working tirelessly in cold weather to give us a house that looks great and the knowledge that the problems are fixed for good. We highly recommend Watertite Roofing for flat roof construction and repair. Leanne and Pierre – Hamilton Ontario

Great responsiveness, good value and no hidden costs. Would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing roof work. Chris Elgar of C Elgar Holdings Limited.

During a heavy rain event, the roof leaked and one of the tenant was concerned about the leak. I called Watertite Roofing and they were on the roof to patch the leak by end of the same day. In the meantime, they did an assessment of the roof and provided a quotation within days for the replacement of the roof. Once the quotation was approved, Watertite Roofing promptly began to replace the roof the following day. The foreman on site for Watertite Roofing was considerate of intrusion to the businesses and their clients. The site foreman was approachable and made changes requested by the landlord. The work was completed in four days and before the next rainfall. Communication with the head office was always pleasant and frequent updates were provided every several days of work progress by the Operations Manager/Estimator. I was pleased with the quick response and the professional manner in which the work was completed ahead of time.

I had the opportunity to work with Watertite in 2008, they educated me on their product along with the installation process. The job was completed in a diligent and timely manner and the material is a superior technologically advanced product. Most recently, I had an ice issue this past December where Watertite came out to my building to tackle an ice issue. Upon completion, I was shocked to hear from Zak that there was NO charge for the time spent. There are a very few out there that exercise honest ethical business practice…….THANK YOU

After doing a lot of research on possible solutions for renewing an existing 35yr old low pitch corrugated metal roof on a pre-eng industrial building; a membrane overlay system was chosen as the most effective from a performance, cost and warranty standpoint. After engaging 3 local firms for proposals, it quickly became apparent that Watertite was by far the best solution to meet our needs. Their rep (Zak) was very easy to work with, maintained great communications, and was very professional/responsive to any questions or communications I had. Through the whole process (survey, quotation, project coordination/execution, and wrap-up), Watertite and their personnel were top notch with little inconvenience to the tenant. Definitely would not hesitate to highly recommend Watertite and the Duro-last membrane system.

The crew from Watertite Roofing did and amazing job. They were professional and friendly and worked hard to get the job done. Quality of work was fantastic. It even cost less than originally quoted and appreciated the honesty. Highly recommend this company.

this team was excellent! they repaired our roof (a former elementary school) and did the work on time and within budget. The crew were friendly, professional and cleaned up all during the project work. We have asked them to quote us a second building and look forward to having this repaired. They are the experts in flat roofs. Great work Watertight!

As a custom home builder and renovator we work on many unique projects that require unique products and solutions. We only work with contractors that can provide the level of professionalism, service, and product quality that we demand of ourselves for our clientele. Watertite Roofing is one of those contractors who sets the bar higher for others. Their response time, organization of operations, and delivery on service is rarely paralleled. And they install a durable, well warrantied product that takes a load off our minds. We wouldn’t use anyone else.

      David Tucker

In 2018 the team at Watertite installed a new flat roof on our building. Being that it was fairly new product and procedures to us we were a bit apprehensive at first. However, Zak and the team were great to deal with in terms of explaining the new product and installation procedures and it really eased our mind during the decision making process. During installation the team couldn’t have been better. Quick, clean and efficient, very knowledgeable and upon completion they took the time to explain the do’s and don’ts as well as general maintenance tips for us to follow. This past week during the excessive snow storms we’ve had in our area we had some water dripping into our office and showroom. Zak had a team member over the next business day to have a look, at no charge. He did the best he could to clear the water and ice from a frozen eavestrough and downspout that was causing water to travel behind siding and under the membrane. We are very grateful for them to have come out so quickly and not even charge us even though the leak wasn’t even from their roof installation! We have another project in the works for the spring time and we will definitely be going with the team at Watertite again!

      Steve Yendt

We did our due diligence on roofers when we needed a complete new 15,000 square foot flat roof. All signs were positive for Watertite and they did not disappoint us, they did a great job. Zack was our main contact and he kept us informed throughout the project and always returned our calls in a timely fashion. Well done Watertite team! Protecting a Local McDonald’s: A Flat Roofing Success Story

When it comes to flat roofing, many people think it’s just about the surface. However, a well-installed flat roof requires a more comprehensive approach – one that considers the entire roof envelope. This includes all the interconnected components that work together to protect the building from the elements, such as weather, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. Recently, we had the opportunity to apply this expertise to a well-known local business – a McDonald’s restaurant.
